Antique Bench

Dan is starting the process of decorating an antique bench. He is painting sections to be grain painted with a putty color base coat over a black primer coat.


Dan is almost finished with this old milk / pie safe. It orginally had screen in the panels for ventilation. Dan chose to add solid panels to give more surface for decoration. He has used black stencil decoration over  a distressed red paint. It is only awaiting the "turn" knobs for closure to complete this piece.
